Our story
Established in 1994, in Village Haan.
Ferozepur Foods Private Limited sits on the Fazilka Road at Ferozepur, in the heart of the Punjab paddy belt — close enough to the fields that paddy reaches the pre-cleaner within hours of leaving the mandi.
The company was incorporated in 1994, but the family had already spent years in the rice trade — over forty years of it in total. That history is why the plant was built the way it was: integrated, oversized on cleaning and sortex capacity, and pointed at export markets from the first season rather than the domestic wholesale trade.
Today the 15-acre site mills 400 MT of rice a day on Satake plant, holds more than 20,000 MT in storage, and packs 150 MT a day. It is certified to HACCP, ISO and GMP, registered with APEDA and FSSAI, and recognised by the Government of India as a Star Export House.
Pesticide-free Basmati, tested against European Union maximum residue limits, is milled and segregated on the same site for buyers who need it.

Our mission is to mill and deliver rice that arrives exactly as specified — the same grain length, the same aroma, the same cooked yield, shipment after shipment — so that our buyers can build their own brands on top of it with confidence.
Our vision is to make aromatic Indian Basmati and non-Basmati rice available to people worldwide, for a food that already feeds half the world’s population.
